内容简介
根据教育部提出的高等职业教育人才培养目标，《汽车英语》应该作为高职院校汽车类专业的核心课程，编者按照职业技术教育的特点和培养方案，本着“适用，管用，够用”的原则编写了本书。本书以“注重英语与汽车专业知识相结合，充分考虑汽车英语的实用性，提升学生职业素质，以学生能力为本位，以学生就业实际为导向”为指导思想，教材内容的特点是：准确体现汽车英语专业知识结构，题材新颖，富有时代气息，理论内容“必需，实用”，实训内容贴合工作一线实际，选图讲究，易懂易学。全书共分6个单元，每个单元由不等的课节组成，每一课节中大体包含：pictures，Article Explanation，New Words，Phrases﹠expressions，Notes，Practice，Hands on七部分。通过本教材一定学时的学习，汽车专业学生在巩固已经掌握的基本词汇和语法知识基础上，扩大汽车专业英语词汇量，了解和掌握科技文章的文体及语法结构方面的知识，提高专业英语的阅读能力和应用能力，能以英语为工具，获取和交流本专业所需的信息。本书参考学时为70学时，其中理论学时为46学时，实训环节为24学时，各项目的参考学时参见下面的学时分配表。
